Services for Students

Currently the AEC is offering the following services to music students:
  • The AEC Members database: Are you interested in studying abroad? The AEC members database includes a wide range of information about its over 290 member institutions: Information on the Academic Year, Curriculum, exchange programmes and information for incoming students, as well as the contact details of the International Relations Coordinator (IRC).
  • Events: Students are encouraged to attend AEC events for a special reduced event fee. AEC recommends to every member institution to recognise the attendance of a student at any AEC-Event as an elective course of at least 2 ECTS.
  • The Polifonia Database of Student Research Projects, especially addressed to students who are planning or carrying out research projects as part of their programme of study, in particular those working at Masters and Doctoral level.
  • The AEC Jobs Vacancies site: the AEC has created a common European platform for advertising job vacancies and internships for instrumental and vocal musicians, composers, teachers and staff members in the  Higher Music Education sector.
  • Internships at the AEC office: the AEC office is offering internships to students. If you are interested, please go to our internships page.
  • In addition, the AEC offers a FAQ and practical information on mobility and exchange programmes. You can find this information in the menu on the left-hand side.
