Live Online Dialogue - Culture Action Europe
AEC encourages all its members and colleagues to join the dialogue!
The Live Online Dialogue is live online debate between citizens and key EU policy makers, including MEP candidates, held on 25 April 2019 from 10.00 to 18.00. The live online debate consists of four chat rooms on a variety of topics focusing on key issues related to the future of Europe. Each room is moderated and invigorated by discussion activators for the duration of the session.
AEC will present in Room 1 (EDUCATION AND RESEARCH) continuously throughout the whole day.
Here we will be discussing the following theme: "BREAKING THE MOLD: Do we have the education and research systems we want?
We need a new education and research paradigm that helps us to live, work and shape our societies. Current education systems often sideline knowledge emerging from culture and artistic exploration. Are we not becoming poorer in the process if we disregard the contribution of arts and humanities?"
The other rooms of the Live Online Dialogue will be discussing the following themes:
- ROOM 2 - EUROPEAN VALUES and IDENTITIES
- ROOM 3 - LABOUR AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- ROOM 4 - SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
The Live Online Dialogue is open to anyone who wishes to join. Participants will include citizens interested in cultural matters, youth, cultural professionals and amateurs, professionals of related sectors and their networks, young people participating in the Next Generation, Please event as well as the broader public. You can participate online at www.jammart.eu together with participants from all across Europe – registrations are open now!
