ActinArt is a network which supports Nordic/Baltic artistic Higher Education Institutions’ process in order to develop an entrepreneurial mindset within curricula. This set of hard and soft skills helps students and teachers to increase awareness of the importance of career building, to develop a proactive approach to professional integration and to share knowledge of employment opportunities.Among the activities ActinArt conducts to support the development of entrepreneurial mindset among students, teachers and institutions, the network organises an initiative about developing and promoting a new understanding and approach towards implementing Sustainable Development Goals in Artistic Universities and Conservatories.

In collaboration with Growing Pathways, ActinArt will conduct two online Sustaining Impact workshops, on 7 and 15 June. They are aimed at helping institutions and staff to move from strategy to action for long-term sustainability.

The process around the workshops combines a network platform created for this specific group, where prototypes will be designed and tested in between the workshops. In September there will be a follow-up session in order to consider the first experiences and look at future steps.

The aim with this approach is:

  1. To apply a methodology for sustainable strategies developed by Growing Pathways
  2. To kick-start a network that may support each other across borders, disciplines, and institutions in the following years.

The admission is limited to 25 attendees and the participation is free of charge, thanks to support from Nordplus.
