'Polifonia' Working Group 4 - Lifelong Learning: Educating for Entrepreneurship
The ERASMUS Network for Music 'Polifonia' aims to promote innovation in and enhance the quality, attractiveness and accessibility of European higher music education through European cooperation.
Working Group 4, composed of music professionals and conservatoire representatives, is dedicated to "Lifelong Learning: Educating for Entrepreneurship". The group seeks to promote innovation in European higher music education by studying models of entrepreneurial approaches in music and ways in which such training can be re-enforced both within the conservatoire sector and the profession.
Begun in 2004, 'Polifonia‘ is the largest higher music education project to date, and, thanks to support from the European Commission, is currently concluding a third 3-year project cycle for the period 2011-2014.
This cycle is jointly co-ordinated by the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and the European Association of Conservatoires (AEC) and involves 55 organisations in professional music training and the music profession in 26 European countries and 4 countries outside Europe.
This project is funded with support from the European Commission. This website reflects only the views of the authors and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which might be made of the information contained herein.
